Terms & Conditions
Introduction
Welcome to our psychotherapy website. By accessing and utilizing our online booking system to schedule psychotherapy appointments, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a transparent, fair, and professional experience for all clients. Please review them thoroughly before making any bookings. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, we kindly ask that you refrain from using our services.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these terms and conditions, the term “appointment” refers to any and all psychotherapy sessions or consultations that are scheduled through our website. This includes, but is not limited to, individual therapy sessions, couples therapy, and any other service offerings available for booking via our online platform. All references to appointments within these terms are understood to mean bookings made exclusively through this website.
3. Booking and Payment
All psychotherapy appointments must be booked through the online system provided on our website. Upon selecting your preferred service and time slot, you will be required to complete payment in full to secure your booking. Once your payment has been successfully processed, you will receive a confirmation email containing the details of your appointment. It is your responsibility to ensure that the contact information you provide is accurate and up-to-date, as all correspondence regarding your appointment will be sent to the email address you supply during the booking process.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our refund policy is designed to be clear and straightforward. Payments made for appointments are strictly non-refundable, except in the specific circumstance where the therapist initiates the cancellation of your appointment. In such cases, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid, or you may choose to reschedule your session at no additional cost. If you, as the client, are unable to attend your scheduled appointment and wish to reschedule, you must contact us at least 24 hours in advance. While we will make every effort to accommodate your request, rescheduling is subject to the therapist’s availability and discretion. Please note that failure to attend a booked appointment or late cancellations will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling, except as outlined above.
5. Client Responsibilities
As a client, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are available and prepared at the scheduled time of your appointment. We recommend that you log in or arrive a few minutes early to ensure a smooth and timely start. If you arrive late for your session, the therapist may be unable to extend the session beyond the originally scheduled end time, and the full session fee will still apply. Consistent punctuality and communication are essential to maintaining a professional therapeutic relationship and ensuring you receive the full benefit of your session.
6. Therapist Responsibilities
The therapist is committed to providing professional and ethical psychotherapy services at the scheduled time of your appointment. In the unlikely event that the therapist is unable to attend or must cancel your session, you will be notified as soon as possible using the contact information you have provided. In such cases, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule your appointment at a mutually convenient time. The therapist will make every reasonable effort to minimize disruptions and maintain the highest standard of care.
7. Confidentiality
Confidentiality is a cornerstone of the therapeutic relationship. All information shared during your appointments will be treated with the utmost respect and privacy. Your personal details and the content of your sessions will not be disclosed to any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law or in situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. We are committed to upholding professional ethical standards and ensuring that your privacy is protected at all times.
8. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide high-quality psychotherapy services, neither the website nor the therapist shall be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from the use of our services. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss of data, emotional distress, or other damages resulting from technical issues, missed appointments, or other unforeseen circumstances. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on our website. It is your responsibility to review the terms and conditions periodically to stay informed of any updates. Continued use of our services after changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms.
